Yes. The CLN Pb Replacement range (12.8V / 25.6V, 1.28–2.56 kWh) is a direct drop-in replacement for traditional lead-acid tubular batteries used in home inverters and UPS systems. Same voltage, same terminal type — you simply remove the old lead-acid battery and install the CLN lithium module. The result is 3–4 times the cycle life, zero maintenance (no distilled water top-ups), no acid fumes, and about 30% less weight.

LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) and NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) are two different lithium chemistries. LFP is inherently safer — it does not undergo thermal runaway even under abuse conditions, making it ideal for stationary storage inside homes and buildings. NMC offers higher energy density (more kWh per kg) but carries a higher fire risk and is primarily used in electric vehicles. All CLN batteries use Grade-A prismatic LFP cells for maximum safety in stationary applications.

CLN lithium batteries support up to 16 units in parallel within the same battery range. This means you can start with a single module and expand to 16 times the capacity as your needs grow. If you are installing a new system or have more space, the Wall Mount (51.2V / 5.12 kWh) or Stackable (48V / 4.8–19.2 kWh) offer higher capacity in modern form factors. For homes with existing 48V inverters, the Stackable range is the most flexible choice.

CLN LFP batteries are rated for up to 6,000 charge cycles at 25°C. A typical lead-acid tubular battery lasts 1,200–1,500 cycles. This means a CLN lithium battery lasts 3–4 times longer. At one cycle per day, that is over 16 years of daily use versus 3–4 years for lead-acid. The total cost of ownership is significantly lower despite the higher upfront cost.

Yes. All CLN battery ranges are compatible with solar-plus-storage systems. The Wall Mount, Ground Mount, Stackable, and Rack Mount HV ranges are commonly paired with hybrid solar inverters for residential and commercial solar installations. The Containerised BESS is used for utility-scale solar farms. CLN batteries integrate through standard communication protocols (CAN bus, RS485) with most major inverter brands.
